Examples of alkaline foods include fresh fruits, nuts, seeds, beans, and non-starchy vegetables. Examples of acidic foods include meat, cheese, eggs, grains, and processed foods. There is no proof that an alkaline diet can slow, cure, or keep diseases such as cancer from coming back.
